Home Cinema

Prime London Installations designs and installs home cinema and multi-room audio systems for houses, flats and basement conversions across every London borough.

From a discreet 5.1 system in a living room to a dedicated cinema room with tiered seating, acoustic treatment and a 4K laser projector, we handle the whole job - design, first-fix cabling, speaker and screen installation, rack build, calibration and handover.

Speaker layouts. We design to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X layouts where the room allows: 5.1.2, 7.1.4 and beyond, with in-ceiling height channels for overhead effects. In rooms where visible speakers are not wanted, we fit in-wall and in-ceiling drivers with paintable magnetic grilles, or plaster-in speakers that disappear into the finish entirely. We work with Monitor Audio, KEF, Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz and Sonos.

The part most installers skip is calibration. After installation we measure the room and set levels, distances, crossovers and room correction properly, so dialogue is clear and bass is even rather than boomy in one seat and absent in the next.

We also handle projector and motorised screen installation, AV rack builds with proper ventilation and cable management, HDMI and network distribution to multiple rooms, single-remote or app control over cinema, lighting and blinds, and the dedicated power circuits a cinema room needs.

Best results come from involving us at first fix, before plastering - but we regularly retrofit into finished rooms.
